Relevant work experience and how it relates to Toastmasters and your role as a region advisor:

I have been in corporate management in a publicly listed company for 35 years and have worked with teams in organizational performance involving administration and people management. I have worked on a global platform in the corporate sector with teams from South East Asian countries, and have currently ventured into the field of education and training. With my exposure in people management and teamwork as well as leadership skills in Toastmasters, I am ready to serve in the role as region advisor.

What key strengths do you bring to the district leaders?

I have been in Toastmasters for 18 years, during which I have been involved in training members and officers at all levels in topics relating to membership recruitment, building new clubs and district success plans. I am eager to share with district leaders and support them in their leadership journey. My involvement with another volunteer organization, Junior Chamber International, for 29 years gives me the extra edge in coaching servant leaders in a volunteer organization.

Why are you interested in serving as region advisor?

I have met so many amazing people in Toastmasters who have helped me in my leadership. I have gained so much and it is now time for me to give back by helping others in their leadership aspirations. It is my sincere intention to tap into my past experiences and knowledge to help district leaders succeed in their district goals. It has always been my passion to serve Toastmasters on a different platform. I look forward to working with all the districts in Region 14.
