District 102 Speech Contests Results Announcement (2019-2020)

District 102 first ever 4-in-1 Online Contests : International Speech, Table Topics, Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contests were held on 30 May 2020. The event was streamed live on District 102 Facebook with 6200 pax reached. All 26 contestants across 4 contests mesmerized the audience with splendid, world class speeches.

With that, it’s a curtain call for the unprecedented District 102 Contest Season of the term 2019 – 2020, with many firsts achieved since Movement Control Order (MCO) were declared in Malaysia since 18 March 2020. District 102 organized Mock Online Contest (led by J.P. Celestino & Kishan Pradip Doshi) on 19 March 2020 and issued Online Contest Guidelines to provide guidance and support to members and clubs experiencing online contests for the first time. As online contests were organized across District 102 from club, area, division right up to District level, challenges were overcame, new knowledge were learned, changes were embraced and improved along the way. District 102 deeply appreciate the wonderful efforts by everyone involved in all levels of maiden online contests. Their resilience spirit augurs well for a bright future of the District 102.
