We have all given speeches, but why do some people make significant progress while others encounter bottlenecks? We all have goals and dreams, but why do some people create miracles, while others stop giving up?
Sherrie Su was born into a family of factory workers in China. When she got into college, she wanted to learn spoken English but she had a very strong accent that nobody could understand her.
However, ten years later in 2018, she competed in the World Championship of Public Speaking Contest and achieved the 2nd place.
She says, “If you want to achieve a goal, you need to do three things. Believe you can do it; Do it; And keep doing it. ”
The first thing, which is also the most important thing is, to believe you can do it.
From her journey, we will learn how to set a goal, how to beat self-doubt to realize a dream, and the journey to compete in the World Championship of Public Speaking.
The session will be conducted in Mandarin.
