ZOOM with Toastmasters – Mirosha Somasundram, DTM

Dear Members and Guests, your data and privacy are important. We are taking a few measures to ensure our online session is safe and secure for every participant.
Registration required – All participants are required to register to be allowed into the session. This event is recurring every Wednesday but you need to register only once to attend any session. Register now at https://bit.ly/ZoomToastmasters
Manual approval – The organizer will manually approve each registration. Only approved participants will be sent the Zoom meeting link and the password.
Meeting ID and Zoom link – These will NOT be the same as those shown in any previously published poster. Different ones will be used and sent to approved registered participants.
Security features – These Zoom features will be adjusted accordingly to ensure maximum security: “Waiting room”, “Lock meeting”, “Join before host”, “Share screen”, “Mute upon entry”, “File transfer”, “Remove participants” and others.
Facebook Live – If Facebook Live is used, the video will be kept and used on social media for Toastmasters-related purposes.
Recording – The session will be recorded but stored locally on the host’s computer. It will NOT be stored on the cloud or any Zoom server.
Disclaimer – Certain disclaimers and security notices will be read out at the start of the session.
Group photo – Group screenshots will be taken at the end of the session. If you do not wish to appear on the video, you may choose to turn off your video, rename yourself, or leave the session.
Consent – By joining the session, you are giving consent to us to use your image and video (if any) for Toastmasters-related purposes. As anyone might be able to download the image and video, you agree to indemnify Toastmasters International and the organizer for any unauthorized use of the image and video.
